Services & Capabilities

Whether you're seeking personal healing, professional development, or both, at Littlejohn Counseling & Consulting we offer a range of therapeutic services to support you through various stages in life.

For Individuals

Brittany L. Maxshure, a therapist with long locs, sits attentively on a white couch, listening to a client who is practicing a self-soothing technique. The client, dressed in a beige top and blue jeans, sits on a teal chair with her arms crossed over her chest and eyes closed. The therapy room features a zebra-print rug, a small side table with books and a coffee cup, and a large window allowing natural light to fill the space.

EMDR Therapy

If you’ve tried traditional therapy and felt like something was missing, you’re not alone. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a proven therapeutic approach that helps individuals process and heal from trauma and distressing memories.

EMDR allows us to move beyond surface-level conversations and helps rewire the way your brain processes stress, trauma, and self-doubt. Through guided sessions, EMDR can alleviate the emotional charge of past experiences—so you can stop feeling stuck and start moving toward the life you want.

Coaching

Navigating a career transition or nurturing meaningful relationships requires more than just intention—it demands action and accountability. • Set clear, achievable goals with specific and measurable objectives that align with your personal and professional aspirations.

For Businesses

Training

My trainings and workshops are for wellness-centered businesses and organizations looking to build the skills of their staff and educate them on trauma-informed care and the mind-body connection.

They’ll also gain awareness around how your patients’ or clients’ traumatic experiences can affect the way they experience their medical condition and the care they receive.

Brittany L. Maxshure sits confidently on a white, modern couch with gold legs, her arms resting on the sides. She wears a dark textured cardigan with pearl buttons, black leather pants, and white heels with bows. The setting features a zebra-print rug, a potted fiddle-leaf fig plant, and a small black side table holding books and a tissue box, against a backdrop of white paneled walls.
